There were a total of 3,276 sheep entered at the latest store lambs and feeding sheep sale. There was a large entry of mule lambs, with an average price of £56.39/head. This represents an increase of £2.54/head on the year.
Elsewhere, there was a strong sale for Texel lambs with an average price of £62.36/head, which was also up £3.85/head on the year. Prices have also experienced an increase on last week, rising across the board by anywhere from £3 to £5/head.
