Seandun Macra’s lip-synch battle team put on a fantastic performance at the Macra na Feirme lip-synch battle fundraiser at the South Court Hotel on Saturday 20 May and the club was awarded the prize for highest revenue act on the night.
Twelve teams from across the country took to the stage and you would be forgiven for coming away thinking you had seen Tina Turner or Rihanna herself in action. Even Macra na Feirme president James Healy got in on the action.
Seandun’s entry had members from across the Seandun region: Paul O’Regan (Kinsale), Cormac Lehane (Carrigaline), Aisling Walsh (Glanmire), Eillish O’Callaghan (Knockraha), Kathleen Fitzgerald (Glanmire) and Selina O’ Donovan (Kinsale).

Best costumes
Fellow Cork region Avondhu was awarded the prize for best costumes (with some impressive cross-dressing). However, the real winner was Macra na Feirme which organised a great night in association with Lip Sync Battles Ireland and raised some welcome funds to help the organisation to keep doing the great work that it does.
