Counties Tipperary and Waterford have been issued with a status orange rainfall warning, with up to 50mm of rain forecast in parts.

The warning is in place until 6pm on Thursday evening and Met Éireann has warned that spot flooding is likely.

A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued by Met Éireann for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Cork. The warning is also in place until 6pm on Thursday.

Met Éireann has said that there will be spells of rain at times, which could lead to spot flooding.
