Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) has announced its partnership with Lothian schools, which will provide pupils with the opportunity to undertake practical lab-based work as well as qualifications.

Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) and East Lothian Council recently announced a new partnership which will provide secondary school pupils with the opportunity to work in SRUC’s laboratories and earn qualifications.
Five pupils will undertake a Foundation Apprenticeship in Scientific Technologies over the next two years, as they work towards a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ).
Through the Rural Skills outreach programme, lecturers will also deliver classes in East Lothian two days a week, as pupils work towards a National Progression Award (NPA).
