There was sticky trade in Kilkenny on Wednesday at the first multi-breed sale of 2020. At the time of writing, Hereford bulls had all gone through, with all but one failing to make it past the €2,000 mark and many going unsold. Limousin bulls sold to a high of €3,350, with a good number going unsold.
Regular exhibitor John O’Callaghan stole the show, with his top two Friesian bulls selling for €4,600 and €4,000.
Only a few Angus lots made over the €2,000 mark.
