Bullocks sold to a top price of £1,440, with other noted prices of £1,240 to £1,350 for good-quality continental and Angus types.

Lighter bullocks weighing 400kg to 500kg sold from £800 to £1,000, with cattle below 400kg selling from £645 to £830, depending on quality.

Heifers sold to a top price of £1,240 for a 610kg Blonde D’Aquitaine animal, followed by £1,200 for a 600kg animal of similar breeding.

Heifers weighing from 450kg to 550kg sold from £915 to £1,125, with lighter types making £700 to £765.

Cull cows sold to a top price of £1,090 for a 780kg Charolais animal, with £1,005 paid for a 580kg Limousin cow.

Cows with calves at foot sold to £1,140 for a Simmental with a bull calf at foot, with a Charolais outfit making £1,100.
