For the first six months of 2019 there have been a total of 319 new telehandlers registered in Ireland in comparison to the 303 units registered in the full year of 2017. This figure represents a 41% increase on the same period in 2018.

Figures from the FTMTA have shown that there were 34 new telehandlers registered in June, up from the 23 that were registered in June 2018.

FTMTA chief executive Gary Ryan said: “Practically 50% of the total registrations thus far continue to be seen in three counties, with Meath, Cork and Wexford accounting for 68, 51 and 40 units respectively”.
