It will be mostly dry for Tuesday evening, with some patches of drizzle across the west of the country, according to Met Éireann.

It is expected to be cold overnight in the eastern half of the country with temperatures dipping to 0°C.

Wednesday will be cloudy with scattered showers of rain across the country. Temperatures will range between 6°C and 10°C.
