Scanning cows in Co Tipperary
John Casey from Ballyduff, Co Waterford, scanning 155 cows for Conor Ryan of Duhill, Clogheen, Co Tipperary. Conor farms in partnership with his mother, Ann. They are new entrants to dairy farming, having converted from sucklers this year. Scanning results show that 94% of the cows are in calf after 12 weeks breeding, of which six weeks were to AI. \ Donal O'Leary

Nicky Keogh explains that his crop yields have not been effected by this year's good weather, as they have irrigated their fields.
