A number of events aiming to advise and inspire women working within the Scottish agricultural sector are continuing to take place throughout July.

The Farm Advisory Service (FAS) programme, delivered by specialists from SAC Consulting, part of Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), has already delivered a number of events across the country earlier this week.

The first event taking place next will be on Tuesday 3 July entitled “How EWE doing?” at Little Quoy, Orkney.

On Thursday, 5 July at East Pitforthie Farm, Angus a variety of topics will be discussed including grassland management and SGRPID inspections.

Then on Tuesday, 17 July making the most of EID technology and improving health management in sheep will be featured at Hundleshope Farm, Scottish Borders.

The events are free, but places must be booked in advance. To find out more and to book a place, go to www.fas.scot/news/wia-2/ or call the FAS helpline on 0300 323 0161.
