Traditionally known in Irish machinery circles as a farmer’s tractor, Landini is now putting the push on its larger horsepower tractors.

We spent some time in the Landini 7-180 to see what the latest offering in the 7 series is really like.

Turbo engine

The 7-180 is powered from a new range of FPT NEF turbo engines that have four valves per cylinder and a common rail injection system.

The 7-180 which we tried out has a rated 165hp. With dual power, aka Landini’s power boost, it brings this rated 165hp tractor up to a maximum output of 180hp.

The 7 series is equipped with Landini’s Robo-Six transmission.
