It's been a roller coaster few weeks on Tullamore Farm.

Low rainfall three weeks ago meant the farm was experiencing severe drought conditions, which affected grass growth. This resulted in lambs being weaned two weeks earlier than planned.

Rain came and the grass grew and things are finally returning to normal.

Lambs received their second dose this week and are being creep-fed. Shaun expects a further draft of lambs next week and a regular draft every two weeks after that.

Keeping on top of grass is now the focus with topping taking place to help maintain grass quality. Power washing of sheds is also on the agenda for July.
