100K in 30 Days was founded by Louth couple Niall Carroll and Cara McAdam and launched in 2020 after Cara was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Cara is an avid runner and ran all during her treatment which inspired her husband Niall to setup the 100k in 30 days fundraiser.
Between the 2020 and 2021 events, €3m was raised, going directly into funding breast cancer research and clinical trials.
