A 1,350-cow dairy farm near Culverden, in Canterbury, New Zealand, is recruiting a herd manager. The position is full-time and permanent and involves working on the 520ha farm and milking in a one-person, 60-unit rotary parlour.

A house is available on the farm for the successful candidate and previous experience in dairy farming is a requirement.

Cavan dairy worker

A position is available on a dairy farm in Co Cavan for a farm worker. Previous experience of dairy farming and operating farm machinery is desired. The job will involve some weekend work.

Stockperson for Meath suckler farm

A Co Meath suckler farm is seeking an experienced stockperson. Previous experience with agricultural machinery will be an advantage to the candidate. Application is through CV and cover letter.

Wexford dairy worker

A large spring-calving dairy farm in Co Wexford is recruiting a farm worker. The position involves regular working hours with rostered time off. Dairy experience is preferred but not essential for the position.

Robotic engineers

Lely Centre Mullingar is recruiting service engineering roles in the Westmeath/Offaly and Tipperary areas. The role will specialise in the sales, installation and service backup of Lely Robotic milking, feeding and cleaning systems

Candidates must be from a farming background, live in the relevant areas, have five years’ experience and, while not essential, it is desired to have a degree in electrical/agricultural/electronic engineering or automation.

Breeding adviser

A role of senior breeding adviser has become available at LIC. The position is based in Ireland and the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective implementation of LIC services and the achievement of sales targets in the Irish market.

The role will involve industry collaboration and effective support of LIC’s distributors Eurogene.

Dairy farm finance/IT manager

A position is available to look after a Co Kerry dairy farm’s IT and financial requirements. The position will include both working on site and from home. Hours may vary from 16 to 20 hours a week.

Fence erectors

Independent Fencing Limited is recruiting fencing erectors for work in the Leinster area. The firm specialises in supplying and fitting concrete post and panel garden fencing on new housing estates. Successful candidate will receive full training.
