Australian wheat production in 2019 is forecast at 22.5m tonnes, which is significantly higher than the 17.3m tonnes produced last season. Australian wheat exports are also forecast much higher at 13.5m tonnes.
According to the USDA’s largest world agricultural supply and demand report (WASDE), the EU will import just over 15m tonnes of soya in 2019. This is down slightly on the 15.5m tonnes imported last season.

Maize (corn) production in Brazil for 2019 is set to hit 101m tonnes, according to a new forecast by the USDA. This would be slightly ahead of the 100m tonnes produced last season. Maize exports from Brazil are forecast at 34m tonnes.
