For farmers who have ordered machinery that is TAMS-approved, the clock is ticking. Under the rules of the tillage TAMS, there is only a 12-month window from the date of approval to finalise the purchase of equipment and to lodge the application for payment with an invoice – marked fully paid – included.
Spring field work
In addition, with March upon us, farmers and contractors would be anxious to conclude deals and take delivery of new equipment in time for spring field work.
It’s understood that none of the supply issues are associated with Apkil’s Irish dealer for sprayers and mowers, Delaney’s of Ballaghmore in Laois. They relate to tillage equipment only. Any farmers who want further information should contact 087-279 2747
