Meath land has been performing well at auction over the summer and John Harrington of Smith Harrington in Navan will be hoping for more of the same this week. A good-quality 46.5-acre holding is up for auction on Wednesday. The property, which is located in Halltown, Dunderry, near Navan, will be auctioned at Smith Harrington’s showrooms, Navan.

Laid out in one block, the holding consists of a dwelling house, a farmyard and the lands. The highlight feature of the sale is the quality farmyard being offered. The yard area also has an open silage pit and a concrete yard.

The 46 acres are very good Meath land. Leased for the last five years, the land is ready to use with electricity, water supply and fencing all in good order. It is guided for in the region of €450,000, which is reasonable considering the facilities and quality of ground.
