Essential information

MS Ireland provides essential information, advocacy and support services to those living with multiple sclerosis, a chronic condition that affects the central nervous system.

Commenting on the initiative, Aurivo chief executive Donal Tierney said: "At Aurivo, we are incredibly proud to have reached our fundraising target of €40,000 for our new charity partner, MS Ireland - an organisation that delivers vital care and support to people living with multiple sclerosis across our region and beyond.

"With community at the heart of everything we do at Aurivo, we’re especially proud that funds raised will help bring crucial physiotherapy services to the northwest region, services that were not previously available.”

Echoing this sentiment, MS Ireland CEO Ava Battles said: “We extend our heartfelt thanks to Aurivo for raising an incredible €40,000 in support of our regional services.

'Vital funds'

"These vital funds will be evenly distributed across Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon, Donegal, Leitrim and Longford.

"Aurivo’s generous contribution will directly enhance local programmes such as physiotherapy and exercise sessions that improve quality of life for people living with MS.

"It will also support crucial informational events for the wider MS community, offering resources and guidance for those newly diagnosed, their carers and others affected.

"We are truly grateful for Aurivo’s exceptional efforts. Their support will positively impact hundreds of lives across our regions.”

The €40,000 was presented to MS Ireland and will help the organisation provide vital support services to people living with multiple sclerosis in the local community.
