Aurivo Co-op Society, in conjunction with Progressive Genetics and the Irish Farmers Journal, have organised three farm information seminars which will take place next week.
The first seminar will be held in Aurivo Balla Mart on Monday 5 October, with Aurivo Mart Ballymote next up on Tuesday 6 October, and the final event due to be held at Aurivo Mart Mohill on Wednesday 7 October. All events start at 8pm and include a mixture of presentations and live cattle demonstrations.
There will be a focus on nutrition and winter feeding from Aurivo personnel, a market update and outlook from Bord Bia, and MSD Animal Health will cover winter health programmes.

The live demonstration of cattle organised by Progressive Genetics will focus heavily on breeding and meeting requirements of the Beef Data and Genomics Programme (BDGP). Teagasc and ICBF advisers will also be in attendance to deal with any specific issues relating to BDGP.
