Fancy winning a Hereford calf for €10?

When its '80s night fundraiser was cancelled due to COVID-19, Cork's Terelton Macra club came together to think of ways it could raise much needed funds for Marymount Hosipce.

The local hospice is a much-needed facility in Munster which provides care to patients with progressive illnesses, both cancer and non-cancer, serving a population of 600,000 people in Cork and Kerry.

The club came up with a virtual calf raffle, an idea that has raised over €2,000 to date. The Hereford calf, which was donated by a local dairy farmer, is due to be raffled live on Facebook in the first weekend of June.
