A cattle trailer has been stolen from Tibohine, Castlerea Co Roscommon, according to Sean Crummy. He posted a tweet calling for the public's assistance in finding the trailer that belongs to his friend.
STOLEN STOLEN SUNDAY NIGHT 15th JULY. My good friend had his 2cow @NugentTrailers robbed from Tibohine,Castlerea Co.Roscommon.Replica of this image.I would greatly appreciate retweets & any information possible that may lead to the recovery of the trailer & maybe an apprehension pic.twitter.com/lCIfkCb8hi
"It was stolen between 8pm and 8am while my friend was on night shift," Crummy told the Irish Farmers Journal. "His yard gate was closed but not locked. Gate is an 8ft site security type with the vertical parallel bars and each bar with three points on the top of each bar."
While there were livestock in some of the sheds where the trailer was taken from, no cattle were stolen. However, the house and yard in this instance are in remote location.
"It's off a road off the N5 just outside Ballaghaderreen. His yard is behind all his sheds. You have to drive up past a line of sheds on your left and his perimeter wall 7ft high on your right."
