I see that the infamous Cradenhill farm in Nohoval, Co Cork, is back on the market. However, this time, it is just for renting as opposed to a sale.

Cahalane Skuse Auctioneers and Valuers have the 170-acre farm up for letting until 31 October 2018 for crops only. The land is currently in all pasture. No figure has been released on how much per acre it would set you back.

The Cradenhill dairy farm near Kinsale in Co Cork was owned by Ireland’s fittest family winners the Kingstons. However, a judgment obtained by ACC Loan Management for €2.45m against the Kingston family led to the sale of 950 purebred Holstein animals on the farm in April 2016.

Since then, there has been much legal to-ing and fro-ing with a couple of failed attempts to sell the land.
