Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine, Michael Creed. \ Donal O' Leary

I see that the Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed has been keeping it local when it comes to appointments of late.
He recently appointed Bert Stewart, the former IFA animal health chair, to the Veterinary Council of Ireland. While no relation to the minister, Stewart is brother to the current Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys.
Another appointment in recent weeks which caught my eye was that of Dan MacSweeney. Minister Creed made him the new Bord Bia chair.

MacSweeney recently retired as CEO of the Carbery Group and is from, you guessed it, Cork.
