Tirlán has maintained its milk price at 46.7c/l, excluding VAT, for June creamery milk supplies at 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein.
This holding in price comes after a decrease in milk price last month by 0.95c/l, excluding VAT, meaning the co-op was at the bottom of the milk leagues in May.
The June milk price consists of a base price of 46.22c/l and a sustainability action payment to all qualifying suppliers of 0.48c/l, both excluding VAT.

These payments will be adjusted to reflect the actual constituents of milk delivered by suppliers.
Tirlán chair John Murphy said that markets are in the seasonally quiet period and prices are generally stable.
“There is considerable uncertainty around the issue of potential tariffs, but we would hope to have greater clarity on this in the coming weeks,” he said.
“In recent weeks, we have completed the payment of over €3m for our dairy trading bonus and €7.7m in co-op dividends to members.”
