Agri technology company Devenish has welcomed 10 graduates into its business as part of a two-year development programme. There were over 200 applicants for the Devenish professional graduate programme, starting in September 2019.
The successful candidates are graduates from Maynooth University, Ulster University, UCD, University of Nottingham and Waterford Institute of Technology. They will spend time rotating between the business services, commercial, operations, and technical and nutrition sides of Devenish. They will also be given the opportunity to travel to Devenish’s sites throughout the UK, Europe and the US.
After two years, successful candidates will be offered a permanent role within the company.
“We are delighted to welcome our largest intake of graduates to the business this year,” said Ryan Connor, people development manager with Devenish.
Laura Maxwell, a food and nutrition graduate from Ulster University, is one of the successful participants: “I am certain the experience will provide a hugely positive springboard for my career, learning from some of the most innovative people in the global agri-technology industry.”
