Ireland’s Eurospar group has launched a new Wine Wizard app for iPhone and iPad to help its customers become connoisseurs. The free-to-download app is designed to take the hard work out of wine selection by providing information on tasting notes, food matching, special offers and latest additions to the range. It allows customers to choose wines according to price, variety, country, taste and to match wine to food. Wine Wizard has a function for scanning barcodes and there’s a journal from the in-house wine expert Gill O’Meara.
