US soya bean exports for the first two months of the 2018 marketing year have collapsed.

Brazilian fresh beef exports for October came to just under 136,000t, which is 14% ahead of the same month last year. This brings Brazilian beef exports for the first 10 months of 2018 to 1.1m tonnes, 11% ahead of the same period last year.
Australian meat processors exported just under 100,000t of beef in October, which is 12,000t or 15% ahead of the same month last year. This brings Australian beef exports for the first 10 months of 2018 to 940,000t, which is 12% ahead of the same period in 2017.
Wheat exports from the EU to world markets are just 5.4m tonnes this season, which is down almost 25% on last season. Barley exports in the season to date stood at 1.9m tonnes, which is down almost 5% on last year.

US soya bean exports for the first two months of the 2018 marketing year stood at 5.9m tonnes, which is significantly down on the 10m tonnes exported in the same period last year. US soya bean exports to China have all but collapsed, with a 98% reduction since China slapped a 28% tariff on US imports.
