ABP Food Group owners Larry Goodman, his wife Kitty and sons Laurence and Mark have quadrupled their wealth in the past year, according to the Irish rich list published in this week's Sunday Times.
The paper estimates their fortune to be worth €2.455bn, reaching across interests including their beef processing business, healthcare companies and property assets.
This means Larry and family have jumped 18 places in the Times rankings, moving from 22nd place to fourth. They are among 17 billionaires in Ireland, according to the newspaper.

Family
Taking the family as a whole means the Goodmans rank much higher in the Times rich list than in the one published by the Sunday Independent earlier this year, where Larry on his own came 21st.
The Times calculation places the Goodman fortune slightly ahead of that of John Magnier, owner of Coolmore Stud.
