A status yellow blight warning is in place for late Friday and Saturday, mostly in coastal areas of the west and northwest.

Met Éireann is forecasting that Thursday will be mostly bright and dry at first, but clouds in the west and along the south coast will give scattered showers in coastal areas. These will clear and become isolated by evening. Top temperatures will be cooler in the west and north ranging between 16°C and 19°C, warmer elsewhere with temperaturesbetween 20°C and 22°C.

Tonight will be dry with local patches of mist or fog and temperatures dropping to between 9°C and 10°C.
