Irish food producers exhibit at London's speciality food fair
Sixteen Irish food producers , including six show debutants and three Great Taste Awards 2015 winners , will be exhibiting at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair in London from today.
Bord Bia will be showcasing the producers at its stands, numbers 1725 and 1825, at the UK’s leading showcase of fine food and drink, which will be held at the London Olympia until Tuesday 8 September. The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Charlie Flanagan, T.D will also visit the stand.
Three of the exhibitors were winners at the recent Great Taste Awards 2015 – Goodness Grains; Quinlan’s Kerryfish; Newgrange Gold.

Now in its 16th year, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair is the leading UK trade event that targets food and drink buyers from the speciality and artisan food industry. A record 12,315 visitors attended last year’s trade event.
Michelle Butler, Bord Bia’s UK Market Manager said “The Speciality & Fine Food Fair is a great opportunity for visitors to sample just some of the high quality food and drink that is on offer from Ireland.” Over the past few weeks, Bord Bia has carried out an extensive buyer canvassing campaign aimed at attracting targeted food buyers, distributors and food service operators to meet with the Irish food companies.
