The Irish Neonatal Health Alliance (INHA) will be joined by children who were born prematurely and their families to mark the ninth annual World Prematurity Day on 17 November at Dublin’s Alexander Hotel. The event aims to shine a spotlight on the challenges these special, early deliveries face. The INHA’s new educational guide, Next Steps … The Journey Home, aims to empower parents of premature babies in making the transition from hospital to home easier and to improve long-term outcomes for premature babies. World Prematurity Day is supported by AbbVie for the fifth year. For more information visit INHA.ie. Families and healthcare professionals are welcome and pre-registration is recommended. CL
