JCB launched a new range of agricultural Loadall telescopic handlers at the show, 40 years after the company introduced its first range.

The Series III Loadall range is made up of four new models and two models which will remain unchanged.

The 538-60 will have a 6-metre lift, the 532-70 and 542-70 will both have a 7 metre lift, and the 536-95 will have a 9.5 metre high-lift.

The heavy-lift 560-80 with an eight metre lift height and a 6t lift capacity will remain the same. In addition, the 536-70 LP will continue unchanged with its existing low profile cab.

The range will come with four different spec levels – AGRI, AGRI Plus, AGRI Super and AGRI Pro.

The existing 4.4-litre and 4.8-litre JCB EcoMAX engines used will remain unchanged.

These engines have power outputs of 75hp, 109hp, 125hp and 145hp.

The 109hp engine will come with a new 40kph powershift transmission with a four-speed torque converter lock-up.

JCB said this is to provide more performance and better fuel economy when travelling and towing than the regular 30kph four-speed transmission.

The six-speed JCB Torque Lock auto powershift and JCB DualTech VT hydrostatic/powershift transmissions will be unchanged.
