With the annual Keenan open day cancelled due to COVID-19, the firm replaced the event with a 10-day sale of approved-used and secondhand diet feeders.
The sale kicked off on Monday 22 June and will run until Tuesday 30 June. Print and digital catalogues with details of all the machines offered for sale as well as videos of each model are available on request.
This year’s sale will feature a 2019 self-propelled MechFiber345. This demo model has low hours on the clock, having only been used for on-farm demos. The Carlow firm said that when a pre-owned machine is taken back into the factory, suitable models are stripped back to basics and each component is re-built as required. Each machine undergoes a 60–point check, before been given the approved-used badge of approval.
This year’s sale will also feature a small range of secondhand trade-in machines that will be sold in their current un-refurbished condition.
A number of pre-arranged appointments respecting social distancing guidelines will be made available to people who would rather call to the factory. Keenan concluded by saying a range of finance plans are available, as well as flexible payment options, such as deferred payment into late 2020 and beyond.
