KT facilitators are paid once farmers have received payments.

Agricultural advisors received €3.7m in payments under the Knowledge Transfer (KT) scheme last week, according to the latest figures released by the Department of Agriculture. This is to cover the facilitators’ fees after they forwarded individual payments to the members of their groups.
Facilitators must confirm they have paid farmers before they get their own €500 payment for each group member. The €3.7m issued to facilitators to date covers 7,400 farmers.
Meanwhile, the number of farmers paid under the KT scheme remains 13,740 and has not progressed in the past month. This is out of an expected 19,000 based on enrolment figures, but some have not yet met all the requirements or may drop out of the scheme.
