DEAR SIR: Following the terrific success of the collection centres for waste tyres, I would implore the powers that be and all farm organisations to do everything possible to roll out this scheme further.

This is in order to facilitate all those who genuinely wish to dispose of their stocks of waste tyres in an environmentally sensitive way.

Having waited patiently for the announcement of the dates and venues of the centres, I was very disappointed that the nearest venue was said by Google maps to be 87km and 1hr 25 minutes away.

This of course was obviously by car and would take a much longer, prohibitively so, time with a tractor not equipped with a 50k box suitable for motorway travel.

So please, can we have some more centres in areas not well serviced by the four already held. The need is obviously great, as evidenced already.
