Rua in Castlebar – which recently won the title of Just Ask Restaurant of the Year in the prestigious Georgina Campbell awards – will celebrate 20 years in business from 6-8 November, with events including a Friday night dinner in the original café on New Antrim St with a menu composed for the night by the original chef Ann McMahon; a fundraising bake sale on Sunday in their Spencer St premises with students of local school, St Joseph’s; and giveaways of 20 Rua hampers filled with their favourite local produce throughout the weekend.
