The Dealer was interested to hear ALDI purchasing staff explain their reasoning for staying loyal to Strathroy.

The German retailer has no stores in Northern Ireland, yet it continues to buy fresh milk from the Northern processor.

The reason is seemingly simple – Strathroy was their first fresh milk supplier when they moved to Ireland in 1999 and they say they like to stay loyal to their suppliers.

Apparently this outweighs the option of only using milk with a National Dairy Council logo on it.
