Following the launch of the current range of auto-reset ploughs in 2019, Kverneland has now complemented its offering with a new range of shearbolt reset models.
Models are equipped with new, stronger shearbolt legs and are designed to shear under pressures as high as 5,000kg. The design doesn’t allow the bolts to stretch, which could lead to possible deformation of the leg.
Shear bolts can be replaced instantly thanks to the tweaked design.
Like on the current generation auto-reset models, adjustment of the skimmers has been made more convenient. Kverneland’s 4P new generation skimmers improve performance in any soil conditions.
Skimmer angle can also be adjusted via two eccentric bolts to prevent stone blockages or to favour a gentle cut of grassland. Moving the skimmer forward and backwards allows better adaption to the intended forward speed. In addition, moving the skimmers to more on land work via lateral repositioning allows for better trash management.
A new range of wheels is available for the range. These include: rear- and frame-mounted wheels, mechanical and hydraulic. The 3300 B Variomat, 3400 B Variomat and 3500 B Variomat i-Plough models are available with Kverneland’s Trailer Transport Solution (TTS). This system allows the ploughs to behave like a trailer and offers better manoeuvring during transport.
Auto-line
When changing the working width on a Variomat plough, there is no need to adjust the pulling line. Instead, by design the ploughs will always pull straight. This is what the brand calls auto-line. The first furrow can be adjusted independently from the working width of the plough in tricky conditions.
