Kverneland has unveiled a new high capacity Alentix mounted fertiliser spreader. The new Alentix is positioned above the firm’s current range, and features a hopper volume from 2,375l up to 4,700l, allowing more capacity.

With a spreading width of up to 54 metres, Kverneland explained that the new RapidRate dosing system on the spreader adjusts instantly the correct dosing, based on, for example, driving speed or Variable Rate Application prescription maps, ensuring optimal fertiliser flow at all times. The manufacturer noted that it is designed with a patented square-shaped dosing system positioned centrally above the RotaFlow 100 spreading system.

It claims this guarantees a precise and even fertiliser flow with no impact on the spreading pattern, even on slopes or hilly terrain.

Kverneland says that the redesigned RotaFlow 100 spreading system ensures a gentle fertiliser flow for an accurate spreading pattern. The timings bush with a range of 100° offers enhanced setting flexibility and precise section control.

The spreader is equipped with four weigh cells and a dual reference sensor, to deliver precise automatic weighing on the go. Regardless of forward speed, fertiliser flow remains consistent. The weighing system delivers continuous, real-time weighing, with no need for recalibrations.

By measuring the hopper weight, the Alentix is claimed to be the first TIM fertiliser spreader with a system that automatically alters the top link to optimise the centre of gravity ensure and ensure the spreader remains level. It also automatically controls the speed of the PTO.

The Alentix is built on a frame with an integrated quick hitch system. The rear cover can fold as a sturdy platform for easy filling or hopper checking, delivered with a ladder for safe access. The new spreader comes with an integrated parking stand, while the hopper extensions are aluminium. The spreader will make its debut at Agritechnica.
