I see Meath GAA is continuing its fine tradition of partnering with agri companies. Devenish Nutrition announced a three-year deal with the once footballing kingpins of Leinster.
The seven-time All-Ireland footballer winners finished up with Tayto Park after this year’s championship.
Beef baron Kepak was one of the first ever companies to sponsor a GAA team when it was on Royals’ jerseys during the heyday of the early to mid-1990s.

It got me thinking. What other ag companies currently sponsor GAA teams? Off the top of my head, we have Gain Feeds for Wexford, Avonmore for Kilkenny, Carroll Meats for Offaly, forestry company Glennon Brothers for Longford, the Kerry Group for Kerry, Brady’s Ham for Kildare, Simply Fruit for Armagh and Supermacs for Galway. There have been a plethora of others over the years.
