Teagasc is set to welcome a new neighbour to Moorepark in Co Cork. Rinocloud, the Fermoy-based data and tech division of DeepVerge is set to create 60 new jobs in the Moorepark Technology Centre, introducing its new facility as a European centre of excellence for artificial intelligence.

The staff will have an initial focus on the development and assembly of Rinocloud’s water-based epidemiological optofluidic rigs which are used to detect spikes in COVID-19 in real time.

DeepVerge, which is headquartered in Cambridge, England has deep pockets, with a market cap of approximately £60m.
