Buzzing economy lesson for the Dealer

Bees and hoverflies are in full flight at the moment and The Dealer was reminded that pollinators contribute €53m to the Irish economy each year.

The figures were quoted at an organic farm walk in Cork recently. The event itself drew a crowd of over 300 people from across a number of counties and across the agriculture spectrum. Such was the crowd there was some fear that there might not be enough organic burgers for everyone at the end.
