It’s almost a year since TLT International went into receivership, owing marts and banks €6m, but the Garavelli brothers’ company lives on through one skilled model-maker who has made a scale model of the old TLT livestock Scania Topline truck and trailer, which will be part of the Kilkenny Model Toy Show taking place next week. The model was made by Mike Collector Toys from Innishannon, Co Cork. The show takes place on Sunday 2 November at Cillín Hill, Co Kilkenny. You can read about it in vintage news (Focus, page 10).
