11 Irish supermarkets fined €300 for breaking price display rules
Figures released by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) revealed that 11 retailers in Ireland were issued a fixed payment notices last year.

Retailers who fail to indicate the price of products for sale can be issued with a fine of €300.
A Dairygold co-op store in Mallow, Co Cork, also fell short of the requirements.
Three separate Supervalu stores in Cork, Dublin and Longford were found to be in breach of such rules.
Two Spar shops in Dublin were issued the fine, along with two Tesco stores in Tipperary and Roscommon.
In Co Louth, there was one Dunnes Stores and one Lidl, while one Centra in Dublin was required to pay, plus one Mace store in Meath.
The CCPC carried out a total of 111 inspections last year and issued 33 fines to various traders who failed to meet the requirements.
Independent food stores were also fined, including one in Dublin and one in Galway.
