Priced at $496 (€429)/acre, US-based estate agent Swan Land Company warns that this may be one of the last Montana ranches sold under $500/acre in this lifetime.
A 400-cow herd is currently being managed on the ranch, with an additional 900 head of yearlings.
Calving season begins with the heifers around the first week of April, while cows begin calving two weeks later.

Calves are weaned in late October or early November, depending on weather and grass conditions, the estate agent website details.
Management believes that the ranch is stocked at about 60% of its carrying capacity.
