The deadline for Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) tranche one participants to attend a voluntary training course is 31 March 2026.

Participants may attend a voluntary training course in year three of ACRES for which they will receive €156 in payment. Approved trainers will receive €90 per applicant.

The Department of Agriculture explains that the original timeframe of completing a voluntary training course in 2025 was extended to 31 March 2026 “in view of the large number of ACRES tranche one participants”.
