The Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) west Connacht team is looking for students to apply for its new summer bursary scholarship scheme for 2024.
The scholarship is designed for undergraduate students in an agri-environmental college course, such as ecology, agriculture or biological course, who are passionate about agri-environmental conservation.
Students must have at least two years of a study in a relevant discipline.

Field-based work
Successful candidates will immerse themselves in full-time work - predominantly field-based - with ACRES west Connacht staff, focusing on agri-environment habitat assessment and ecological monitoring.
The bursary, which is valued at €350 per week for 10 to 12 weeks, covers travel expenses incurred during working hours.
