Nutrient management plans (NMPs) from 10,161 farmers are still outstanding, the Department of Agriculture has confirmed.
Balancing payments of 15% from 2016 GLAS applications and 2017 advance payments are being held up until NMPs are submitted.
“2016 balancing payments continue to issue on a weekly basis as NMPs are submitted,” said a Department spokesperson.
“An NMP must be submitted before any future GLAS 1 and 2 payment, including 2017 advance payments, can issue.”
