Tuesday 15 May is the final day for farmers to submit an online application for the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and 2018 is the first year where all BPS applications must be submitted online.

The Department of Agriculture has run a number of clinics around the country over the last number of months to assist farmers in preparing their applications.
All applications have to be lodged online this year and any farmer who has not made an arrangement in this regard should contact the Department of Agriculture helpline in Portlaoise on 076-106 4424.
