Hard cheese, rats – it looks like pasta is the only food on the menu now. The boffins at global chemical company BASF have designed a new product to help with rat control. The Dealer was at the launch of the product in the salubrious (and non-rat-infested) Carton House this week. The product is called Storm Pasta and is more effective than previous products.

BASF has designed the grain-based pasta product, I’m told, to keep up to speed with rats’ eating patterns. They’re not tempted by the old blue blocks any more. The times, it seems they are a changing.
